Why GreenPlan?

Individual Attention
At GreenPlan we consider every project to be unique and deserving of special treatment. We do not believe in a "cookie cutter" approach to projects. No two projects are the same and every job is tailored to the project’s unique characteristics and the goals of the client. We understand that every project is different, with its own challenges and opportunities. In addition, every client has goals and objectives that require individual attention. When you entrust us with your project, you can be assured that the product we provide you will be designed to meet the goals you identified and acknowledges the characteristics of the project.

Communication
A key to a successful project is clear understanding of the client’s needs and the consultant’s responsibilities. This understanding is achieved through communication. GreenPlan believes in developing strong and clear communication with our clients during the initial phase of a project to ensure that we understand their goals and objectives. We use the channels of communication established during the initial phase of the project to maintain contact with our clients throughout the life of the project. Clear, consistent, and frequent communication with the client is a key element of our philosophy, as it ensures that the final product meets everyone’s expectation. GreenPlan staff understands the importance of communication in all aspects of the project. When we serve as the client’s representative in meetings, we relay all information received to the client to ensure that decisions are made based upon all available information.

Sustainable Practices
We understand that our communities are growing and are aware of the challenges that this growth can place upon our resources. We believe that growth, through proper planning, can be good for communities and for the environment. Because development has a substantial impact on the current and future generations, it is essential that planning and development be done in a manner that creates harmony between the built environment and the natural environment. To achieve this harmony in our projects, we use sustainable planning and design principles and techniques. By following smart growth and sustainable principles, we believe that we can help design and create desirable places to live, work, and/or play and create strong, lasting communities while also bringing nature into our everyday lives and reducing energy consumption.
